Because our apprentices are Union carpenters, they are eligible for comprehensive health insurance for themselves and their families. And, these benefits follow them even when they change Union jobs and work with different Union contractors. Best of all, these benefits are paid by employers on behalf of their valuable apprentices.
After a short employment period, apprentices begin earning a retirement pension ensuring they leave the trade with security and dignity. The pension program is also an employer supported fund that pays retired carpenters a monthly income based on their years of service to the union.
Union apprentices start on a career path that gives them high-demand skills, cares for their health, and ensures security during retirement.
